Experimental Typography

This class project was incredibly tedious, yet surprisingly satisfying to work on. The goal was to design a 24″ x 36″ typographic poster that is created entirely by one non-manipulated photograph. I created an ampersand from the Gelato Script typeface using hundreds of googly eyes that varied in size. My hardwood floor at the time was used as my canvas as its dark tones and straight edges contrasted well against my chosen material.
